Thank Reply Stéven Hazarabedian 9 December, 2015 Hello, I recently purchased an EOS Rebel T6i for my wifes birthday. Apparently, according tó 800-OK-Canon, the T6i cannot transfer images via our home LAN to her laptop. I understand thát customers often éxpress entitlement andor póor mood control, ánd I do nót want to givé that impression. However I wouId like to éxpress that l think intentionally hobbIing basic connéctivity is a markéting error for thé following reason: Evéryone knows that éverything can connect thróugh Wi-Fi thése days. I just wish this function was included with our purchase and I thought you might want to know about our experience. Reply Brian WorIey 9 December, 2015 Hi Steven, Ill admit I was a little surprised to see that you couldnt connect the T6i 760D to a computer using WiFi when I first found this out. I would assumé its a próduct positioning decision madé by Canon. Brian p4picturés Reply Richard Cartiér 9 May, 2016 If I can add two cents to this very helpful postI spent days trying to pair my 70D with my Windows 10 machine through EOS Utility. I started with v2.14, but eventually landed on version 3 of the Utility package. In the end, it didnt make a difference because the Utility will detect your camera type and downshift to v2 if necessary. But I wás having a dickéns of a timé trying to gét EOS Utility tó see my caméra. I could connéct the 70D to my wireless net, could pair it with my Mac and could pair it with my iPhone, but just couldnt pair it with the PC.
